Grading Policy

Grading Scale

• A = 90–100% (Excellent)

• B = 80–89% (Good)

• C = 70–79% (Satisfactory)

• D = 60–69% (Needs Improvement)

• F = Below 60% (Failing)

Late Work Policy

• Late work will be accepted up to 7 days after the due date with a maximum penalty of 20%.

• Work submitted more than 7 days late may receive a zero, unless prior arrangements are made.

• Please note that teachers are subject to their own class grading policies.

Graduation Requirements 

Students must earn a minimum of 17 credits to graduate, including:

• English: 4 credits

• Math: 3 credits (must include Algebra)

• Science: 3 credits (must include Biology)

• Social Studies: 3 credits (must include U.S. History & Civics)

• Physical Education/Health: 1 credit

• Arts/Humanities: 1 credit

• Electives: 2 credits

Additional Requirements

• Successful completion of all state-mandated assessments.

• Completion of a senior project or capstone (if applicable).

• Minimum GPA of 2.0 required for graduation.
